Privacy policy
This describes SportWatcher's data practices as they actually are today. If they change, we'll update this page and its date first.
Last updated July 13, 2026
The short version
SportWatcher does not require an account, does not run advertising or analytics cookies today, and does not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Standard server logs. Like most websites, our servers keep routine request logs (for example IP address and browser type) to operate the site and keep it secure.
- Outbound-link clicks. When you click a “where to watch” link, we record non-identifying details — which service, which sport, which page it came from, and a timestamp — so we can see which options are useful. This is not tied to your identity.
What we do not do
- We don't offer user accounts or store personal profiles today.
- We don't run advertising or third-party analytics cookies today.
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
Note on our technology: the app includes authentication and database libraries (Clerk and Convex) for features we may add later. They are not active today and do not collect or store personal profiles about you. If we turn on account features, we will update this policy before doing so.
Third-party services
When you follow a link to a streaming service, retailer, or league site, you leave SportWatcher and that company's own privacy policy governs what it collects. We don't control those sites.
Analytics in the future
If we add privacy-respecting analytics or conversion tracking later, we will describe exactly what is collected here and update the date above.
